Then, drive to the alabaster mosque or Mohamed Ali mosque.Mohamed Ali (1805-1849) ordered to build this magnificent mosque which is similar to the design of the Blue mosque in Istanbul.Accompanied by your guide, you will learn about the basic elements of the mosque and the architectural style. Both the mosque and the citadel were built on an elevated hill of the mountain around the area.You have a great chance to catch a wonderful view over the city including the old and modern parts.
